Speleothem is an interactive installation that explores the activated chaos of a peaceful item through audience interaction. Drawing inspiration from geological formations found in caves such as Stalagmites, Stalactites, and Limestone columns, Speleothem is a cave feature reimagined. There are similarities between the composition of cave features and clay in how they are both formed through mineral deposits that occur over time. Unlike cave features that you are not supposed to touch, viewers are encouraged to engage and play with this Speleothem.
